NIGHTLIFE FEVER

Thanks God it’s Friday. It feels helpful when everything comes to an cease. Of course, it’s not the cease of the earth. Friday means to calm down, to unbend, to unwind or to enjoy! Life can be best started if we have the adequate rest leaving behind all the stress and pressures of work. anxiety is not really felt by everyone but you don’t have to feel cautious to gain freedom. For once in a while, you deserve to take a timeout and treasure the moment of tranquility. Many are in the habit of taking a timeout especially during weekends. For some, it’s time to be with their family or take a short-time vacation. But for party goers, Friday night is the start of a delightful experience of strolling around bars, pubs and nightclubs.

Nightlife in Mexico is not only on Fridays. Most of the countries nightlife destinations are available all days of the week. In fact, many clubs don’t even get started until 10:30 in the evening or later, with the party wrapping up right around sunrise. Other forms of enjoyment like theaters, small cinemas and shows also bond themselves to the ambiance of Mexico’s grandiose nightlife. Make it sure that the nightlife should be one of your itinerary of the things you should do in Mexico before you return.

As a tourist who enjoys nightlife, whether you drink the night away or just travel around, Mexico is definitely the right nightlife for you. For many travelers, the booming intriguing nightlife of the place is the only reason to go. In Cancun, where is also called as the nightlife capital of Mexico, you could find assorted bars along the way. The Party Hopper Bar Crawl is your thing when you’re ready to get your drink on. They offer eight hours of national drinks in eccentric and original nightclubs. Other bars that offers VIP treatment are Come’n Eat, Hard Rock Café, Senor Frogs and The City. Condesa is Mexico City’s answer to New York’s East Village or London’s Notting Hill Gate. Undoubtedly, it is the hotspot for the best bars in Mexico City. The area is a slew of cafes, art galleries, bars, clubs and cultural centers. Although many complain because of the traffic the area has caused, Condesa still retains its natural atmosphere despite all the constant partying. Popular bars in Condesa are The Black Horse, The Rexo, Barracuda and Barneys . Now with the recent wave of new, eclectic, bars popping up in the Condesa, the choices of music are much wider. If this sounds like the ideal nightlife for you, then Condesa is sure to please.

If you are not necessarily up for seven or eight hours of drinking, there are also many other options for to spend all the night dancing and drinking at nightclubs, bars and cantinas. There are numerous evening cruises all around that can help you pass your time in Cancun. The Captain Hook Pirate Cruise offers a delicious New York steak or lobster dinner while you sail around under the stars. The Columbus cruise is another fortune for you to eat lobster aboard a boat while listening to the soft, live music and the the Caribbean Carnaval cruise will bring you to Isla Mujeres for a live show with music and a buffet styled dinner. There is even a cruise for a night fishing adventure. When you’re done fishing, they’ll even cook up what you caught.

Satisfying it is. It is just so easy for party goers to go from one bar to the other because Mexico got all that you need to spend the night. The place also have lots of restaurants where you could spend a time to after all the partying or for people who wants to spend time with their loved ones especially their family. When you travel to Mexico, be sure you have grabbed the fortune to experience the what we call Mexican nightlife.

Visitors to Mexico City can gorge themselves to their hearts’ content on the wide array of food choices. Food definitely ranks among the top on Mexico City’s long list of attractions. Districts particularly frequented by food lovers are Polanco, Condesa, Centro and Sante Fe, among many others.

The flaming appeal of Mexican food is known the world over, and Mexico City is an ideal place to experience first hand the scrumptious Mexican food, ranging from salsa dips, chilli, tacos, nachos and burritos. You have an endless list of Mexican restaurants to choose from. However, restaurants such as El Cardenal, Los Girasoles, Izote and Café Tacuba have been featured many times both locally and internationally for their tantalizing cuisine. Restaurants such as Hacienda de los Morales and Antigua Hacienda de Tlalpan also offer interesting dining experiences as they are actually ranches which have been converted into restaurants.

For those who want a more heartland take on Mexican food, look out for the street hawkers, or Puestos, who also sell Mexican fare. These are equally tasty, however, do take note that the level of hygiene varies from hawker to hawker and should be something you look out for before purchasing your snack.

By far, Mexican food is not the only dining option you have. Mexico City features a commendable range of cuisine from all over the world, ensuring that you will be even more spoilt for choice when it comes to mealtime. The French and Spanish bakeries are very popular in Mexico City, featuring both French and Spanish type baked goodies as well as traditional Mexican pastries. El Globo and Panaderia Madrid are two such bakeries. With their wide range of freshly baked pastries and the comfortable smell of baking bread wafting through their shops, your mouth will water as soon as you step into one of their many outlets.

Asian food is another dining option that makes a welcome break from the traditional Mexican fare, while still retaining the spiciness and exotic nature of the local cuisine. There are many Asian food restaurants that offer tasty food options at reasonable prices. Chinese, Korean, Indian, Thai, Malay or Japanese… You name it and there will be a restaurant in Mexico City catering to it. The number of Asian restaurants in Mexico City has been increasing in recent years, so it should be no trouble finding one that suits what your palate is craving for at that moment in time.

You are certain to never find yourself hungry in Mexico City. If you do get abit tired of the local fare, then never fear, as there are many American fast-food options also available, such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King and many more. Truly, there really is something for everyone whatever their tastes and whatever time of the day or week it is.

When one has an image of what Acapulco looks like, beaches and waves come to mind – and beautiful ones at that. The moment you arrive, you’ll see the beaches that you’ve always seen in Hollywood movies or picture postcards right in front of your very eyes. Acapulco is a water haven such that no matter where you go, you’re bound to find a beach within a few minutes distance, whether the inner bay areas or the ones facing the captivating Pacific Ocean.

Pie de la Cuesta – One of the most popular beaches of Acapulco and often referred to as the beach of the sunset, (because of the spectacular views you get when viewing the sunset) this laid-back beach is one worth traveling 6 – 8 miles from the main city for. Surfers are advised to observe the safety flags though as the waves coming in from the Pacific Ocean can be pretty dangerous at times.

Icacos Beach – A favorite amongst the locals and tourists, and one of the more finer beaches of Acapulco, Icacos is located in front of the La Palapa Hotel in the city area. A full range of activities are available here from water skiing to parasailing and canoeing and they even have the whole “Hollywood style” serving of the drinks while you’re on your sun chair with a huge umbrella over you.

Condesa Beach – This beautiful beach here has the nick “Paradise beach” for the people that come here, the views you get from here, and the fun you take away as you leave. Full services are offered here just like at Icacos; from the umbrella rentals to the sun chairs and the rentals of jet skis etc. The backdrop of this beautiful beach is lined by some of the city’s most known bars and restaurants, so when you’re done with your tan and then sun goes down, partying is just one stop away!

Puerto Marques Beach – A calm and serene beach where the crowds are rarely seen and the true vacation feeling comes to the senses. Walk along this white sandy beach and feel as if you’ve been transported to a whole different part of Acapulco. This place has a very relaxed feel to it, so it’s best to come here when you have a day of relaxation instead of rush – to really enjoy this place that is. Great for scuba diving and windsurfing, the calm waters look ever inviting and are considered to be one of the safest waters in Acapulco.

The Grupo Mayan Acapulco resorts have a myriad of activities to keep you occupied on your Mexico vacation but sometimes you might want to break free from the resort scene and check out a bit of the local culture on a fun filled day trip. What can you expect on your day trip? Well, here are some useful tips and ideas of what you can do and find.

What to Do?

Acapulco is a rich and diverse city with a myriad of fun and entertaining activities to keep you occupied for days on end. With so much to do and so little time, how do you determine the activities that will best suit your needs? Here are a few of the top tourist destinations.

If you are into water sports you will have no problem finding something to do. Acapulco is known for its water recreation and you are bound to find something that will meet your needs. Interested in parasailing? The experts in water sports at the Grupo Mayan Resorts suggest you check out Condesa beach. On any given day you will see someone parasailing over the aqua water and white sand beaches. Just take a walk down the shore and you will find a parasailing vendor ready to take you on a ride of a lifetime. If flying over an ocean with the wind and a parachute as your only means of staying in the air, then you might want to check out one of Acapulco’s most famous attractions, the La Quebrada cliff divers. These professional cliff divers perform daily shows, where they hurl themselves off of the menacing 150-foot cliffs that tower above the Atlantic Ocean. Their timing has to be perfect so that their jump coincides with the rising tide. This is without a doubt something that you must see.

If this is not your idea of fun, check out Edith Matison’s Art Gallery. Here you will find the works of some of Mexico’s up and coming artists as well as works by Tamayo and Siqueiros. If you are an art lover you will find this activity very enjoyable as you will appreciate great pieces of art in this Art Gallery.

Whatever you idea of fun might be, Grupo Mayan concierge services can help you plan your day trip.

Primarily known as a spring break destination for students looking to smother all signs of stress for a few days, Acapulco isn’t always just a playground for pre-adults. Depending on the time of year and the way you plan things, a trip to Acapulco can be relaxing, refreshing, or as raucous as you want.

Undeniably lovely beaches serve as the primer for what will surely be a satisfying getaway. There’s a reason that millions of people visit Acapulco every year, and spring break festivities and mundane bar food are not the primary draws. For thousands of years, yes thousands, Acapulco has been an active seaport and busy place to be. From the Nahua Indians, who founded this city, to Cortez, who helped to make it an important trading post, this privileged piece of land along Mexico’s Pacific coast has been attracting people from all over the world.

The main boulevard is where it’s at, and is referred to as “La Costera.” As you look out over the bay from this vantage point, it will be easy to see why Acapulco made its way to the top of so many travelers’ lists. Many of the beaches are well kept and surprisingly picturesque, including Icacos, Hornos, Caleta and Condesa. As opposed to some college student tromping grounds, these swaths of sand are pretty sweet.

Another beach located off the main thoroughfare of hotels and foot traffic is Playa Revolcadero. The water here can be a bit rougher as this beach is not protected by the bay, so be careful of strong currents, waves and tides. Spending some time here will be a nice change, however, so enjoy the scenic drive and the feeling of escaping the crowds for a bit.

Several Acapulco hotspots can be recommended, including Zocalo. This is essentially the town square, and is the place to experience a more authentic taste of the local culture. It would be helpful to know Spanish if you’d care to order enchiladas without advertising your status as a tourist, but you’ll probably be able to get by just fine no matter what. The prices are reasonable here, and as you walk around you’ll feel like you truly are in another country. Hint: don’t miss Acapulco’s Cathedral as you wander the streets of Zocalo.

You may have heard of another one of Acapulco’s jewels, the La Quebrada Cliff Divers. Since 1934, daredevils have been plunging into the shallow waters at the base of these cliffs in impressive feats of athleticism and skill. Tourists gather to take in this awesome sight, and without a glimpse of this phenomenon, you’ll feel that something is missing from your trip to Acapulco.

As you would expect, there are many restaurants and watering holes to take care of your eating and drinking needs. They range from American-style chains to bona fide Mexican establishments, many with views of the cliff divers and sunsets over the beach. Certain places attract the young imbibers while others offer a more low-key vibe, so take a look around and follow your instincts. There’s something to please everyone here, from beer-chuggers to wine-sippers.

So whether you like to dance the night away, take long walks on the beach, explore the rougher terrain, or kick back and work on your tan, Acapulco will have something to offer you. Hotel choices are abundant, but remember that vacation rentals also make a great option. Reserve yourself a beach condo where noisy neighbors and late night disturbances will be non-issues, and space to breathe will allow you and your traveling companions to enjoy each other’s company without having to step on one another’s toes.

Acapulco aims to please, so for a trip that will surely provide the sights, sounds, and savory memories that you’re looking to acquire during a much-needed break from the usual, start planning your escape today. Go online to peruse the Acapulco vacation rentals and prepare to say Adios to the drone of daily life.

Soccer in Mexico is the most televised sport. Although, this country is known for many sports in the field, it seems that the Mexicans love soccer best. Many soccer teams are also based in the country, no wonder because the highest football championship established by the Federacion Mexicana de Futbol Asociacion is in this country known as the Primera Division.

The Aztec Stadium (Estadio Azteca) in Mexico City is the fifth largest stadium in the world with the capacity of 105,000. It is as well the only stadium to host two Football World Cup final matches, in 1970 and 1986 and is the official home stadium of Mexico National football team and the Mexican team Club America.

Despite the fondness of the Mexicans in playing and watching soccer, they haven’t been that successful when it comes to the national level. On the other hand of the other hand, they managed to reach the World Cup quarter finals twice, both are during the World Cup held in the country itself. As time goes by, the Mexican soccer team gradually became powerful that they are now considered to one of the fast growing teams in America as well as on the international level.

Both men and women love to play Soccer in Mexico but unlike men, Mexican women who are into this sport needs to double their effort in order to reach a higher spot. That includes overcoming the insufficient funds, lack of infrastructure, and little support.

Obviously, it is in the culture where the treatment of men and women in sports is not that equal. This doesn’t matter only in Mexico but in many countries I guess.

Located in a large valley in the high plateau of central Mexico, and sitting at an altitude of 2240m, Mexico City is one of the highest capitals on earth. Originally built by the Aztec civilisation in 1325, the city came close to complete destruction during the attack of 1521 by the Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes, when he and his forces tried to capture the city; but ended up enduring a 79 day siege, which reduced most of the of Aztec city to rubble. After finally succeeding in capturing the city, it was rebuilt, and has continued to expand ever since. Today, it is the most populous city in Mexico with over 8 million inhabitants.

Today the city is a leading centre of popular culture and music, and as might be expected, Mexico City has an extremely vibrant and diverse nightlife. The music scene offers jazz clubs, all night parties, Mariachi music, Flamenco, Cuban and salsa clubs. For the more discerning, there is also opera, orchestra, and chamber music, plus plenty of dance clubs, rock and roll bars and Broadway-style theatre shows.

Mexico City is famous for being one of the world’s most difficult cities to drive in due to the hectic traffic, congested roads and drivers who seem to play by their own rules. So rather than hire a car, it’s best to take a licensed cab; one of the classic green and white VW Beatles that make up most of the city’s taxi fleet is a must.

If your time in Mexico City time is limited, why not start your day off in Condesa, the bohemian enclave just west of the centre, where you’ll find quaint cafes and plenty of people-watching on offer. Then head to the indigenous street market and take in the hustle and bustle of locals shopping for everything from poblano pepper to mangoes and mutton. After the crowds of the market, the Bosque de Chapultepec – a city forest – is a good place to seek some solace and take a break from the throng of people. Hotels in Mexico city range from cheap and cheerful hostels, to the most lavish and luxury five star abodes, so there’s something to suit all budgets.

Like most large cities in developing countries, Mexico City is a place of great contrasts: shiny sky scrapers loom over upmarket cafes and restaurants full of wealthy upper class Mexicans; yet there is also the poverty and rancid smells from open sewers in the shanties, and there is always risk of crime if you don’t follow sensible precautions.

However, most travellers describe Mexico City as an assault on the senses, and with so much colour and noise, it’s a place pumped full of energy and somewhere that visitors will never get bored of.
